Job Duties include:
1.) Review of scientific literature for human health and ecological endpoints, exposure estimation using a variety of USEPA, California and other applicable guidance documents and use of appropriate models to estimate chemical concentration in a variety of environmental media.
2.) Estimate acute and chronic risk and discuss elements of uncertainty.
3.) Collect and interpret of environmental chemistry, toxicology, soils, hydrology, geology, or meteorology data, analysis and preparation of written reports and maps.
A strong background in MS Access and Excel and human and ecological risk assessment is highly desired. An understanding of water quality, production agriculture, entomology, pesticide chemistry is a plus.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in environmental chemistry, environmental toxicology, plant science, ecology, biology, or related discipline with 2-10 years preferred. 
Job requirements include a clean Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) record. The position requires strict attention to detail and a willingness and ability to learn and use new skills quickly. An ability to be responsive to client needs and to be able to work within deadlines individually and as a team member is a must.
Salary dependent on training and experience.
