As you may be aware, NorCal SETAC is a dynamic community that provides local networking opportunities for students and professionals working in the fields of environmental toxicology and chemistry. Through student scholarships, travel grants, annual meetings, networking events, and field tours, we foster career development, research advancement, and scientific knowledge across government, academia, industry, and other sectors. Please consider applying to join us as a Director.

How the elections work:
Once we have a sufficient number of candidates to at least fill the vacancies, we will put the election of new Directors to a member-wide vote via email (including your profile picture and statement).
Responsibilities include:
Other duties may include:
- A profile picture (high resolution)
- A short summary of your background and why you are interested in becoming a Director (see Director profile example)
How the elections work:

Responsibilities include:
- Three-year term
- Call-in to monthly (sometime bi-weekly) Board meetings, each are ~1 hour
- Help to organize and attend the Annual NorCal SETAC Meeting each year (typically in Spring)
Other duties may include:
- Helping to organize social events
- Recruiting and coordinating local support
- Communicating with members through Science Friday twitter and Facebook posts, website updates, flyers, etc.
- Leading other commitments per Officer Positions (Secretary, Treasurer, etc.)
